Watford Leisure Centre - Woodside

With an ideal location, great transport links and top class facilities, Watford Woodside is well-placed to host a huge range of events. Whether you’re putting on a sporting event, a fair, exhibition, community event, meeting, conference or other such event.

The sizable sports hall – 1,153 m² – boasts bleacher seating for 250 and has capacity for 1,000 people, making it a popular venue hire for sports events, as well as markets, fairs and other live events.

There’s also a meeting room that’s ideal for corporate seminars and away days. It’s got room for 20, with WiFi access as standard and audio/visual equipment available. We can also help with catering if required.

Woodside’s convenient location just to the north of London makes it really easy to get to, as well, with fantastic road and rail links from all over the country. It’s just a 12 minute taxi ride from Watford Junction rail station, while both the M1 and the M25 are within easy reach. The venue also boasts significant parking.

Sports Hall

With space for up to 1,000 attendees, the sports hall is a fantastic venue for sporting events, while it’s also well-suited to fairs, live events, exhibitions and a variety of other occasions.

Meeting Room

There’s space for up to 17 people in our air-conditioned meeting room. With all the IT and audio/visual equipment you need, it’s ideal for meetings, seminars and a variety of other corporate events, including team-building days.

Swimming Pool

Our 25m, eight-lane swimming pool is perfect for aquatic events, especially swimming galas and other competitions. Meanwhile, it can also be hired for parties and other private occasions.

Athletics Stadium

The 500-seater athletics stadium is one of the best-equipped in the area, with everything required to host elite-level track and field events. This includes long- and triple-jump pits, a hammer and discus cage, high jump and javelin facilities and an eight-lane, 400m track, complete with steeplechase jumps and sprinting markings.
