Award-winning Tara Theatre is an architectural jewel opened by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan in 2016.

Located 10 minutes by train from Waterloo (with just a 30 second transfer time from Earlsfield mainline train station to our door), we are fully accessible and environmentally responsible, being A++ energy rated thanks to the solar panels on our sedum roofs.

Our previous clients have included the BBC, Association of British Theatre Technicians, Spektrix, Rogue Opera, King’s College and Royal Opera House; as well as a range of leading theatre companies, music and comedy promoters.

Theatre

The striking visual signature of the theatre, as well as its sound-proofing and outstanding technical resources, offers excellent opportunities for a range of corporate, artistic and private events, as well as filming, broadcast and photography.

The fully-equipped auditorium’s 100 plush seats surround a dust-free earth floor from Devon. Its 6m height and exposed London brick and oak wood walls ally with state-of-the-art sound and lighting facilities to create a stylish and memorable space.

The space can be transformed into whatever you want it to be, with dry-hire and multi-day booking available, and our expert in-house team and approved suppliers are on-hand to help you realise the vision for your event.

The theatre space benefits from full lighting & sound rigs, a high-end data projector and cinema screen, and dedicated Internet access, and is also fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Studio

With an abundance of natural light and smooth oak wood floor, as well as a projector and colourful BuzziSkin felt wall for easy pinning, the intimate 30-seat studio is a charming and practical space for workshops, meetings, rehearsals and private hospitality events.
