St Martin-in-the-Fields

In the heart of London, overlooking Trafalgar Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields is an historic building enhanced by contemporary design. It features in-house catering and a dedicated events team to ensure your event runs without a hitch. St Martin’s has a long tradition of hospitality; from our pioneering work with homeless people through to hosting VIPs, politicians and dignitaries, St Martin’s doors are open to all.

We have a suite of modern meeting rooms that are suitable for meetings with as few as 4 people, or conference facilities for up to 130, and everything in-between.

All our rooms can be booked individually, in combination or as additional spaces for a larger event.

Each air-conditioned room has WiFi and AV available. All our spaces for hire are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

St Martin’s Hall & Lightwell

Contemporary design and flexibility make St Martin’s Hall and Lightwell a stunning setting for events; from meetings, conferences, receptions to dinners. The Hall is a double-height oak-panelled space, crowned with glass, allowing plenty of natural light. The adjoining modern Lightwell provides views of St Martin’s spire and complements the Hall as an additional breakout or catering space.

AV setup includes:

• Ceiling mounted drop down projector screen (233.8 x 132.0 cm / 16:9 wide screen ratio)
• Ceiling mounted HD projector
• Corner mounted audio speakers
• AV Lectern with HDMI, sound and power ports

The three small meeting rooms can be booked with St Martin’s Hall if there’s a requirement for breakout spaces.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu Room

Archbishop Desmond Tutu was a lifelong anti-apartheid campaigner and close friend of St Martin-in-the-Fields, sharing our determination for inclusion and social justice.

This room is best suited for boardroom-style meetings, however the space can be configured for classroom-style or theatre-style seating.

The Archbishop Desmond Tutu Room is fully air-conditioned, and has WiFi and AV functionality.

Peter Benenson Room

In 1961 Peter came in to St Martin’s to reflect on two students being imprisoned in Portugal for drinking a toast to freedom and from the pews of the church the idea of Amnesty International was born.

The Courtyard

Our Courtyard is the perfect outside space right in the centre of London. It’s the ideal place for an outdoor drinks reception, launch event, summer exhibition or informal gathering. If the weather takes a turn for the worse , we also offer a wet weather option.

The Gallery

Sharing the Georgian architecture of our main Crypt and housing many of St Martin’s historic monuments, the Gallery is an exclusive standalone space for events ranging from dinners, fashion events, small music recitals and launch receptions.

The Crypt

The Crypt is an atmospheric space. The open layout and central London location makes it the perfect place for a party or gala dinners or networking events. In the past it has played host to launches and celebrations for award-winning West End theatre productions – all benefiting from our 2.00am drinks and entertainment licence.
