We're a unique independent venue daring to be different in a world dominated by the big chains.

With 2 floors of fun to choose from, we're more than just a bar or one of the many restaurants in Southwark, we're a multi-functional venue offering great food and drinks all day.

Whatever the occasion, whether it's a corporate event, away day, meeting, engagement party, birthday celebration, wedding or private dining, it makes sense to host your next event with us.​

We're also Southwark and Blackfriars number one destination spot for afterwork drinks on Thursday and Friday evenings.

On the weekends we turn into a late night bar with DJ but that's not before our very busy weekend brunches every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

​SAMA Bankside is the perfect corporate bar for hosting after-work drinks in London and is ideally located for companies looking for a corporate events bar in and around Southwark, Southbank, Bankside, London Bridge and Waterloo.

​We are open from 9am Tuesday - Friday for pre-booked meetings and events.

We have a number of spaces including our booths, private meeting/dining room, our lower floor or entire venue hire. Plus we have an outdoor space on our own private road which is ideal for your corporate summer party or after work drinks.

​With catering options to suit a quick meeting, an all day event or an evening event we are sure to have something for you.

​Having a meeting locally in your own office? Then have a look at our new Office Catering Platters. Simply choose the fillings you require (by email of by order form) and the quantities and we'll deliver this directly to your work place.

Upper Arch

Our upper arch is a light airy space with a giant billboard from one of our featured artists. A semi-private space with a raised area at one end of the arch & our comfy curved pink booth adding a pop of colour.

Upper Floor

Our upper floor has natural daylight and features two arches opening out into one larger space where the bar is situated. The arches can be used independently of each other if required.

Our (inside) Garden Arch entrance arch features fake grass and greenery on the walls with tables, benches and a cluster of chesterfields at the end that leads to our main bar area.
