We regularly host weddings, charity galas, private parties, concerts, conferences, fashion shows, exams and a host of other occasions. Porchester Hall is popular with guests from all over the country and is available to hire throughout the working week, making it ideal for corporate meetings and events.

The main hall’s grandeur and versatility have seen it play host to concerts from the likes of Bastille, Amy Winehouse, Kylie Minogue and Pink Floyd; broadcasts such as Beyoncé‘s ‘Black Is King’ and Monty Python’s ‘The meaning of Life’; as well as countless legendary parties.

For larger events, the spectacular Main Hall will suit your needs, while the Small Hall, Duchess of York Suite and the Blue Room are all ideal for smaller events, or as extensions and ancillaries to the Main Hall. The adjoining, newly-renovated swimming pool – built in 1929 – and Turkish Spa is in high demand among event organisers and film crews alike.

Main Hall

The spectacular 459m2 Main Hall is the ideal events venue for a wide range of occasions. These include charity galas, weddings, concerts, conferences, balls and more. There’s room for 400 seated with a dancefloor or 630 standing in the Main Hall and we are able to partition the space for smaller groups.

The venue itself never fails to impress guests with its high ceilings, lavish marble entrance and classic art deco design.

For flexibility, we offer dry-hire and all-encompassing packages, including venue hire, Wi-Fi, catering, high tech AV, lighting and entertainment.

Small Hall

Serving as an ideal ancillary to functions in the Main Hall or as a charming venue in its own right, the versatile Small Hall has capacity for up to 50 people and can used for any manner of events, including community gatherings and smaller celebrations.

Duchess of York Suite and Blue Room

Other spaces available include the Duchess of York Suite and Blue Room, which are ideal for more intimate gatherings or as an extension of the Main and Small Halls.

1920s Swimming Pool & Spa

Adjoining Porchester Hall is the newly-renovated swimming pool – built in 1929 – and Porchester Spa, London’s oldest Turkish baths. The facilities are in high demand among event organisers and film crews alike.
