From small intimate gatherings, to larger grand affairs, we have plenty of semi-private and private spaces to choose from. Our large garden and huts are a favourite as you can enjoy the British weather with a spritz in hand hosting groups of up to 60, and inside you can find our more traditional and cosy pub spaces where we can host groups of up to 100. It’s the best of both worlds.

Whether it be a meeting, a hen do, a birthday party, a work social or an engagement party, we are here to make any occasion a special occasion.

The Garden Huts

Our garden huts are fantastic for parties 6-18 people seated and even more standing. They are self-contained, heated, and include a TVs, which you are welcome to use! These are located in our garden, and are a great option for a quirky dining experience or small party.

For larger parties, feel free to enquire about both multiple huts and the space around them.

Garrat Lane

Up on our shack decking area, this large hut accommodates for big seated and larger standing and seated parties. With a TV, it is a great place to catch any big sporting action with your mates. With a fireplace, it is also the perfect cosy escape in the winter!

Waldron Road

Up on our shack decking area, this smaller hut accommodates more intimate groups on cosy seating.

Whybourne Street

Up on our shack decking area, this large hut accommodates for big seated and larger standing and seated parties. With a TV, it is a great place to catch any big sporting action with your mates. With a fireplace, it is also the perfect cosy escape in the winter!

Quinton Street

In the middle of the garden, you will find our little elevated huts, perfect for smaller groups and parties catching up who don’t need to stand and mingle! Intimate enough for everyone to catch up comfortably. Also, with heaters, it is still a great spot in the winter!

Freshford Street

Littleton Street

Previously known as our shepard shacks, these private huts deserve all the rave they receive. With private TV, heaters, stereo to play music, comfy seating and chairs, it is the perfect place for a private party. With space to move tables and chairs around so you can stand and mingle, or all gather around and catch up. In close proximity to the outside bar, you won’t ever have to journey too far for a drink.

Burntwood lane

Previously known as our shepard shacks, these private huts deserve all the rave they receive. With private TV, heaters, stereo to play music, comfy seating and chairs, it is the perfect place for a private party. With space to move tables and chairs around so you can stand and mingle, or all gather around and catch up. In close proximity to the outside bar, you won’t ever have to journey too far for a drink.

The Party Decking

This newly built area, located at the back of our garden next to the burger shack, accommodates for 60 seated and 80 standing. This decking is the perfect space for a semi-private party in our beer garden, where you’ll be at the centre of all the action, and overlooking all of the pub.

The Main Decking Area

This is the largest space available to hire at the pub, and can hold a capacity of 150 standing or 120 seated. With 3 separate huts at the back which are included (and also available individually) the entire decking and huts together are the perfect space for large parties in our garden.

The Lounge

A spacious yet cosy private room in the pub with a max capacity of 22 sitting or 50 standing, it is the perfect space to host a party, organise a big group dinner, a post-baby shower venue or a hideaway to enjoy your Sunday roast with the family. This area is accessible and has an accessible toilet attached to it.

The Study

The study is a hideaway room and private space located up a few steps behind our bar area. This holds a max capacity of 24 sitting or 35 standing, and is a versatile area which can be used for anything from business meetings to birthday parties, to presentations. With screens included, this is an ideal setting for groups requiring a good level of privacy.

The al Fresco

A semi-private space located in-between the garden room and garden area. This gorgeous conservatory area is the perfect balance between indoor and outdoor, with comfortable seating, and a perfect view of the garden. This holds a max capacity of 25 sitting or 45 standing.
