Holborn Venues offers historic settings for meetings and events in the heart of the City of London. The church of St Andrew Holborn has been a place of worship for over 1,000 years.
Set against the bustle of the City, Holborn Venues occupies a tranquil site in the heart of London. The versatile site for meetings and events boasts a total of six spaces, each with their own unique character.
Since being gutted in the Blitz, and rebuilt brick for brick, St Andrew Holborn has played host to concerts, banquets and fashion shows. Sir Christopher Wren's iconic Church is also a functioning place of worship. Beneath the limestone floor lies the crypt, hidden underground and dating back to Roman times.
Overlooking the Guild Church is the Courthouse. Inside, one can find a variety of spaces for meetings, seminars, receptions, and private dining rooms.
Court Room
Our largest conference room boasts a wonderful hammer beam ceiling, and large windows overlooking the historic Wren church. However, the pièce de résistance of this room is the original Jacobean fireplace.
This room is suitable for dinners, receptions and meetings. The adjoining Panel room can be used as a breakout space.
The space is equipped with an 80" monitor. Wi-Fi and basic AV hire is complimentary, with a spider phone available at an additional cost.
Panel Room
So named because of its wall of intricately engraved mahogany panelling, this room is a cosy setting for small meetings or interviews. Not only do the large windows fill the room with natural light, but they also offer a magnificent view of the iconic Wren church.
The space is also used as a breakout room when hired in conjunction with the adjoining Court room.
Archive Room
This room is one of our most popular spaces because of its versatility; it is suited to presentations, team away days, and meetings.
When hired in conjunction with the Marsden room, the two adjoining spaces make up the St Andrew suite. After an intensive brainstorming session in the Archive room, your delegates can reboot and refresh with lunch served next door.
Wi-Fi and basic AV hire is complimentary, with a spider phone available at an additional cost.
Marsden Room
Formally known as the Thavie room, the other half of the St Andrew suite is regularly used as a convenient break out space from Archive room meetings. It also frequently serves as a drinks reception room for private dining events in the Court room.
A portrait of William Marsden hangs in one of the alcoves - a nod to the Church's history - and the room's large windows overlook the Church courtyard.
Church
The Wren church on Holborn viaduct has become an iconic part of the landscape of the City.
As well as being a site of worship for over 1,000 years, St Andrew Holborn is a go to venue for fashion shows, banquets, concerts, and conferences - to name but a few.
Garden
Outdoor event space is not easy to come by in the City of London, and that is what makes our walled garden so special. This may be a public area during Church hours, but the gates can be locked and manned for private events.
Summer cocktails and a barbecue? Free range hog roast and a gelato cart? Get creative and our events team will do the leg work.
