Our central London venue has a range of flexible, contemporary spaces with a capacity of anywhere between 10 and 850 guests.
Purpose-built for your events, Congress Centre offers 16 flexible meeting and events spaces with capacities ranging from 10 to 500 guests. This 1950s modernist building includes all the latest AV & tech built-in, outstanding modern facilities and unbeatable customer service.

Conferences
Congress Centre has several conference venue spaces, available depending on the size you need. Our largest space, Congress Hall, has capacity for 500 delegates sitting in a theatre-style and comes with an adjoining foyer. On the same floor you’ll also find Congress Suite, great for breakouts, catering and exhibitions. We also have a further conference space which holds up to 160 attendees in a theatre-style and several other options for smaller talks, seminars and food and drink.
Meeting Rooms
In addition to our featured suites, we have nine meeting rooms of various sizes. Spread over two floors, four rooms on each, all of our London meeting rooms have lots of natural light and fabulous AV facilities.
The 5th floor
The main meeting room on the 5th floor, Council Chamber, has a capacity of 160 attendees, seated in a theatre-style. The other four interconnecting rooms – which overlook the BT Tower – can be hired on their own, or opened up to create a larger space. The rooms themselves benefit from the beautiful, Grade II listed wooden panelling that clad many of the walls of the interior of the building and access to the newly refurbished toilets on the same floor. Situated across the hall from Council Chamber, the rooms, which boast original 1950s chandeliers, can be booked for stand-alone meetings, or as breakouts for larger events.
The Invision Suites
A contemporary set of four rooms, the Invision Suites are kitted out with all the high-end AV facilities an event organiser could need. The spaces are also flooded with natural light and have their own registration area – great if you’re hiring them as your main event room. The suites can also be booked in conjunction with larger spaces in the building for break out areas or catering.
Exhibitions
Whether you’re holding a stand-alone exhibition or need a display area as part of a larger event such as a conference, we’ll have a space that perfectly suits your needs. Large exhibition spaces in London rarely come with natural light – hugely important for the energy levels of both your visitors and exhibitors – but here at Congress Centre, we have it in abundance.
Spaces
We have several rooms that lend themselves well to exhibitions, each of them with their own charms and capacities. From Congress Hall, with over 430sq ft of floorspace – perfect for a large exhibition – to our smaller rooms including Congress Suite and Marble Hall.
Catering
The layout of Congress Centre opens up lots of opportunities for catering to run alongside an exhibition. Foyer, Marble Hall and Congress Suite are firm favourites with organisers using Congress Hall and we can supply a wide range of catering styles, from teas, coffees and snacks to finger buffets or canapes.
AV
Seamless branding opportunities exist to carry your attendees from the windows and front desk of our venue through to the registration area, cloakroom and into the exhibition hall. We offer organisers a 1Gb fibre optic line for general browsing, which is supported by a 1Gb emergency fail over. Both Congress Hall and Congress suite benefit from an infra-red hearing aid system and all other spaces are fitted with hearing loops.
Fashion Shows
Congress Hall is an exceptionally versatile space. Its size gives fashion show organisers the space to place their catwalk in numerous positions around the room and its state-of-the-art AV equipment means bespoke lighting and sound effects can help you realise your creative vision.
The setting
The 1950s modernist architecture and interiors of Congress Centre never fails to impress guests. The period lifts, Grade II listed wooden panelling and timber sprung floor are some of the venue’s most notable features along with the award-winning space frame which sits just below the glass ceiling in Congress Hall.
Additional spaces
Congress Hall has a beautiful foyer which organisers can use as a registration and catering space. There is also an adjacent room, Congress Suite, which works really well for hair, make-up and changing facilities or overspill catering and exhibition space. Whatever combination of rooms you use and for whatever purposes, the natural flow between them will ensure a seamless movement of guests through your schedule.
Hybrid and Virtual Events
A versatile hi-tech venue near Tottenham Court Rd, London with state-of-the-art AV, lighting, and streaming abilities. Ideal for hybrid events from 20-500 attendees. We will ensure your delegates have a complete and engaging experience, whether they are with us at Congress Centre or tuning in virtually.
Congress Hall, our largest space, has a capacity for 500 in-person guests, theatre style or 256 cabaret. This room has ample space for a stage set, complete with an extensive lighting rig and back-projection for high-quality presentations. Congress Hall benefits from its own entrance and reception desk, as well as a dedicated foyer space for breakouts and networking. Equipped with a 103” plasma screen, it is the perfect space for information, branding or sponsor and speakers.
The Council Chamber can accommodate 160 guests theatre style. Designed with its original 1950s modernist style wood panelling, it’s a popular choice for a range of events. This room also benefits from its own registration area.
Across from the Council Chamber is the Meeting Rooms, a large space which can be partitioned into four smaller rooms. When hired along with the Council Chamber, the Meeting Rooms are often used as an additional space perfect for networking and catering.
The Invision Suites, located on the second floor, offer a similar flexible layout and are the perfect space to host smaller hi-tech hybrid events for hybrid meetings. Suites 1 and 2 can be combined to create a larger event space, seating up to 130 attendees in theatre style. Suites 3 and 4 are ideal for smaller separate meetings, networking, or breakout rooms.
Film Shoots
Congress Centre boasts a number of original 1950s features which make the building a popular central London film location. The historic building has a Grade II listed status with English Heritage, a fascinating history and many unique features throughout: all of wide appeal to location managers.

Congress Hall
Known for its built-in state-of-the-art event tech, this large conference room benefits from natural daylight without glare, thanks to its stylish 1950s space-frame ceiling, air conditioning, a timber sprung floor and a large contemporary stage.
Congress Hall is fitted with the latest audio-visual hi-tech equipment including; an 18ft drop-down screen, a 48-channel digital sound desk, and digital HD projection.
It also boasts fibre optic Wi-Fi (free for general browsing) and a sophisticated colour changeable LED lighting system to create the perfect backdrop for your event.

Exceptionally versatile, Congress Hall is ideal for events, including conferences, AGMs and exhibitions, launch parties, fashion shows, awards dinners, and corporate events.
Outside the conference hall, is a dedicated registration area and a spacious Foyer ideal for welcoming guests and serving buffet meals and refreshments. On the same level, the Congress Suite acts as a useful exhibition or breakout space when booked in conjunction with our large conference hall.

Congress Suite
Congress Suite is a versatile event space in London that offers the perfect blend of modernity and versatility for large-scale events. Located alongside Congress Hall, Congress Suite can accommodate up to 190 guests for a sit-down meal or 180 standing.
Step into a stunning blank canvas space with beautifully restored original parquet flooring from the 1950s, complemented by pristine white walls. The Congress Suite’s captivating ambience sets the stage for creating unforgettable experiences. Hi-tech facilities and ample capacity make Congress Suite a remarkable backdrop for corporate events.
Council Chamber
The Council Chamber is a versatile wood-panelled conference suite with excellent state-of-the-art built-in equipment. The high ceilings and large windows in the Council Chamber create a light and airy atmosphere. The Council Chamber’s hired for many events including film shoots, product launches, training days, conferences and meetings.
In addition, the four large meeting rooms across the 5th-floor landing and reception area are ideal for catering, meeting and break-out areas when booked in conjunction with the Council Chamber.
Meeting Rooms
The Meeting Rooms at Congress Centre are a suite of four interconnecting stylish and contemporary meeting rooms with original 1950s wood panelling on the 5th floor of Congress Centre.
Situated across the landing from the Council Chamber, they make ideal break-out and catering areas for events taking place in the Council Chamber, or they can be booked individually for smaller meetings and events; easy-to-remove partitions allow them to be converted into a larger event space if required.
Invision Suites
Invision is a contemporary suite of four hi-tech meeting rooms, all with natural light. Two of the rooms (Invision 1 and 2) can be combined to form a larger space seating up to 130 theatre style, or separated to suit smaller groups. The main conference room features the latest presentation facilities, built-in front projection and a touch-panel control system to operate AV and lighting. Each room features attractive polished-wood details and contemporary lighting and the suite also benefits from a dedicated reception area for welcoming guests, complete with LCD screen for branding, as well as its own toilet facilities.
Syndicate Rooms
The Syndicates are three stand-alone meeting rooms of varying sizes. Each is ideal for separate meetings or high-level discussions including interviews, board meetings, or overseas virtual calls and meetings.
Syndicate 2
Syndicate Room 2 has a capacity for up to 22 in a boardroom layout. The room benefits from natural daylight, a 55” built-in LED screen with Audio, and HDMI/VGA connection. It’s an ideal small meeting room in a convenient London location.
Syndicate 3
The largest of the Syndicates is room 3 with a capacity for up to 40 people in a boardroom layout. The 2nd-floor room includes an 80” LED screen with audio, HDMI/VGA connection, delegate microphones and flipchart if required. The space also benefits from natural daylight.
Syndicate 4
Syndicate Room 4 can accommodate 15 people in boardroom style. The room has a small monitor with built-in speakers and can include a flipchart if required.
Marble Hall
Marble Hall, an impressive event space located on the ground floor of Congress Centre, can be hired for exhibitions, receptions, and networking events.
The famous Epstein statue, erected in 1958, was commissioned for the building as a war memorial. It commemorates the sacrifices made during both world wars by trade unionists.
Location
Whether your delegates are local, national or international, getting to Congress Centre is easy as we’re a just a few minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road and about 5 minutes’ from Oxford Street and Covent Garden. As well as being handy for public transport links, our location is also great for post-conference entertainment and accommodation.
The details
The AV facilities in Congress Hall are second-to-none and include a 20,000 lumens HD projector, an 18ft drop down screen, a stage, two 85 inch plasma monitors for visual reinforcement and a whole host of other equipment. You can also enlist the services of our in-house technicians which will leave you free to concentrate on looking after your invitees on the big day.
