Barbican Foyers
Our Foyers are perfect for conventions and large-scale events. Take in our iconic architecture with these buzzing and flexible spaces.
Level G
The Level G Foyer is located on our ground floor and at street level. Its views which take in the Lakeside make it an open and light space, great for big events. Our Level G Foyer is centrally located and gives views of our inside and outside architecture.

Barbican Theatre
Our Theatre is world-renowned for its construction and famous production history.
Seating 1154 people, our Theatre has an intimate feel with no seat located further than 20 metres from the stage. It's an ideal venue for conferences, award ceremonies or private events.
All guests have excellent sightlines with tiered seating. Our acoustics in the venue are geared to the requirements of international production companies, with a blank canvas stage allowing for bespoke production.
Barbican Hall
Our Hall is one of the country's finest auditoriums with superb technical resources, intelligent design and excellent acoustics.
Our iconic Hall seats 500 to 1943 people.
It’s ideal for corporate conferences, AGM’s, graduations and product launches. The Hall has an unique atmosphere with great sight lines, tiered seating and air conditioning.
Cinema 1
Our award-winning cinema in the heart of our building.
Cinema 1 has state-of-the-art projection supported by our in-house technical team. It’s ideal for presentations and corporate meetings.
The space features fully-integrated stage lighting and sound rigs which can be adapted to your needs. Lighting can be programmed in your chosen colours.
With a a spacious foyer area, bar and cloakroom, Cinema 1 is also suitable for private film screenings.
Cinemas 2 & 3
Our classic cinema venues - located on Beech Street.
Our Cinemas 2 & 3 have a boutique movie theatre feel with full technical resources.
With comfortable seating and clear sight-lines - these two venues are perfect to host an intimate event such as a seminar, smaller conference or private film screening.
Frobisher Auditorium 1
A medium sized auditorium with stage lighting, a full range of technical support and great sightlines.
Auditorium 1 is the perfect choice for conferences, presentations and podcast recordings. As a former cinema, the space provides great sightlines, comfortable seating and high-quality projection and sound.
With 245 seats including 2 wheelchair spaces, Auditorium 1 is a short walk from the Garden Room and Conservatory - an ideal combination for catering and meeting spaces.
One of our dedicated AV technicians is provided with all Auditorium 1 bookings. You’ll receive all the expertise you need to deliver even the most demanding event.
Frobisher Auditorium 2
A mid-sized raked auditorium with fully-integrated stage lighting and two adaptable sound rigs.
Frobisher Auditorium 2 is located on level 4, next to to six individual meeting rooms, a dedicated boardroom and our stunning catering areas. Complete with full technical support, lighting, sound and presentation facilities, the raked seating has excellent sightlines and all seats have retractable writing tablets. For groups of 80 or more, Frobisher Auditorium 2 may be a suitable alternative to the Frobisher meeting rooms.
The hire cost of the auditorium includes a projector, projection screen, PA system, 3 cabled microphones and a dedicated technician. A complete range of additional data and projection equipment is available for hire and, along with any additional requirements, will be installed and supported by the Centre's in-house technical team.
This on-site technical support, combined with the capacity to stage video-conferencing and satellite links, offers organisers all the facilities and expertise needed to stage even the most demanding conferencing event.
Frobisher Boardroom
Need a fully equipped meeting space at short notice? Arrange meetings in minutes with our concept boardroom.
The Frobisher Boardroom is designed to provide everything you need for a successful, creative meeting. The spacious, dedicated boardroom features a ‘Congress' table flanked by comfortable leather armchairs and benefits from natural daylight but also has blackout blinds. It's equipped with an 80” LCD screen, Clickshare technology and connectivity for seamless presentations.
A bespoke catering menu is available and can be ordered in the run up to the event or on the day itself.
Frobisher Rooms
The Frobisher Rooms are a suite of versatile conference rooms suitable for meetings of 10 to 170.
Ideal for both smaller meetings and syndicate work, the rooms are separated by removable sound proofed partitioning, and can be set up in any style to suit your event.
The six individual rooms are located on the 4th floor which is our dedicated conference floor, along with two auditoriums and boardroom.
At the heart of the rooms is the Frobisher Hub, where delegates can relax and unwind with views overlooking the Sculpture Court.
Conservatory
The spectacular Conservatory is a joy to discover, a hidden tropical oasis in the heart of the city.
Our Conservatory is a versatile and unique space within the City of London. Alongside the Garden Room, it can accommodate up to 300 people for a standing reception. Coloured lighting has been incorporated into the planting, creating a stunning environment for parties held after dusk.
We're able to accommodate a great range of activity including corporate lunches, weddings, product launches and seasonal parties.
Conservatory Terrace
High up under our glass roof, the Conservatory Terrace is a magical space overlooking hundreds of tropical plants.
Flooded with natural daylight, our large and versatile terrace is suitable for a variety of events including drinks receptions, wedding ceremonies, dinners and exhibitions.
For larger events, the space can be combined with the Conservatory and Garden Room to accommodate up to 650 people with direct staircase access.
Garden Room
A stunning catering area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Lakeside, St Giles Church and the cityscape of London.
Our Garden Room can be used for conferences, private dining and wedding receptions. It can host up to 300 people for a reception and when combined with the Conservatory and Conservatory Terrace, can accommodate up to 650 people for parties and events, providing one of the world’s most unusual and flexible networking spaces.
Our events team will be happy to discuss any theming you might have in mind. They'll be able to create an original menu, tailor the decor and bring your ideas to life.
