Bang Casting Studios

BANG STUDIOS offers FIVE purpose-built, high definition (HD) fully serviced and sound-rated Casting Studios for film, photography and dance productions. A Vodcast/Podcast Studio, a boardroom and plenty of hangout space with kitchens, a courtyard and a bar! There’s even a shower, if you so desire.

Down a quiet little passage, smack-bang in the middle of W1, lives BANG STUDIOS.

A fresh, urban and creative space designed across three floors and spanning over 3500 sf.

We pride ourselves on being solely digital and provide all the above and more at a competitive rate for castings in commercial, TV, film and musical theatre.

Our communal, urban spaces on the ground floor and basement are perfectly versatile and open plan with high ceilings (and a glitterball) – ideal for film productions, venue hire, gallery openings, PR events, product launches, press and fashions events, dance and choreography or whatever else tickles your fancy. We draw the line at the opening of an envelope, but are happy to throw in a kitchen sink, (or two) in one of our two bar/kitchen areas.

We think we’re bang-on in our approach, and while we could bang-on about it all day, it’s probably better if you take the 3D tour, book a session or event, or pop in and say hello.

Studio One

BANG’s large purpose-built studio is the space for large sessions and top-notch recalls.

Studio 1 is sound-rated and operates in HD as standard – with a dedicated private login for client downloads at a super-fast 100mbps (no extra cost). The studio benefits from high ceilings, a curved performance wall, fresh air and a client area that is both cosy and creative and can house up to 6 clients comfortably.

The studio doors are purpose built and larger than the norm to accommodate any access for wheelchairs, running machines or giraffes.

There’s also a large, private and colourful waiting area with a dedicated receptionist, buggy-parking for mums, baby changing and disabled access.

Complimentary refreshments include good biscuits, banging coffee, tea (in a mug or pot), still or sparkling water – and fizzy pop if you’re lucky.

Studio 1 is available for re-calls, castings, photographic castings, stills shoots, read-throughs, wardrobe calls – and other fun stuff at request.

Studio Two

BANG’S mid weight, purpose-built studio is an ideal casting space for pairs, singles and littluns as well as dry hire and wardrobe fittings.

Studio 2 offers everything that Studio 1 has with a little added extra! The studio contains a unique natural light source from a huge skylight (we call it the Da Vinci light), perfect for beauty castings and photography.

The studio houses up to 4 clients comfortably.

Studio 2 is available for re-calls, castings, photographic castings, stills shoots, read-throughs, wardrobe calls – and other fun stuff at request.

Studio Three

Studio 3 is BANG’s second largest space with an impressive 9-meter width by a 5-meter depth performance area. It can also seat up to 10 clients comfortably.

It also boasts two Lilliput 23 inch field monitors, Kino-Flo FreeStyle 31 LED lighting, a Panasonic 4K Pro camera, air-con and a super-large open-plan private waiting area with bar/kitchenette, a courtyard and a boardroom (Studio 4, should you require).

Studio 3 is available for re-calls, castings, photographic castings, stills shoots, read-throughs, wardrobe calls – and other fun stuff at request.

Studio Four

Studio 4 is BANG’s small, compact, and versatile studio space, perfect for singles, couples, podcasts, and VO’s. The space is soundproofed and comes complete with Panasonic 4K camera, studio floor LED light boxes, a Lillliput 28-inch 4K monitor and comfy seating for up to 2 clients with air-con or heating.

The space can be a film studio, a podcast studio or a boardroom.

All VO/Podcast gear is Rode.

Studio Five

Studio 5 is BANG’s super-sized studio with a 9.5m long performance space and a 6m depth of field with larger than life ceiling height. Complete with Panasonic 4K camera, Amari Studio lighting and the option of natural light or blackout. The space is private with its own reception, kitchen, toilets, changing room and private courtyard. The space can house up to 15 clients comfortably and has Lillliput 28-inch 4K monitors and a glitterball!

The Chapel is BANG’s all singing-all-dancing Studio perfect for castings that require space, privacy or have lots of clients in attendance.

Hot Desk area

BANG can also provide hot desk space. Grab a spot at the bar or boardroom (if it’s available) and you’ll find power sockets and superfast 100mbps internet connection. Or you can just sit and have a natter. This is complimentary service for clients.
