A restaurant with a focus on Ghanaian cuisine and culture. Founded by two Londoners with Ghanaian heritage, the restaurant’s unique ambiance reflects their blended cultures, creating a space where food, art and history collide.

1957 (19FiftySeven) is a significant year a not only for Ghana but for the whole continent, as it was the first Sub-Saharan country to gain its independence.

The year is synonymous with boldness, joy, harmony and freedom. In celebration we wanted to take you on a Ghanaian-fusion culinary journey through reimagined traditional dishes infused with history, tradition, and modernity. The results are colourful, flavourful and unique dishes specifically catered to you.
